My Greatest Desire is a deeply expressive piece inspired by Psalm 73:25–26, where earthly desires fade in comparison to the presence of God.
A rich watercolor and alcohol ink background blends deep and soft blues with warm shades of brown, creating a beautiful contrast between shadow and light. Delicate yellow wildflowers emerge from the darker tones along the bottom, adding a touch of brightness and reminding us that beauty can still bloom even in the deeper places.
The Scripture excerpt, “and there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you,” rests at the bottom in a coordinating blue with a soft glow, allowing the words to remain beautifully visible while becoming part of the artwork itself.
